How many people survived?
There were about 700 survivors from the tragic wreck of the Titanic. This is out of the approximately 2200 passengers and crew aboard. The survivors in the lifeboats had to witness the deaths of many people. Many were interrogated about what happened that night.
The chart below shows how many deaths (on the left) and how many people survived (on the right) of the passengers sorted by class or crew.
